![]() ![]() Hey if that's too long, get a darn horse. In Morrowind you could take 20 minutes real time to walk from town to town. The map on the game is huge, but not as huge as Morrowind. Plus of course the horse can hold inventory. You can even battle while on horseback if you level up correctly. The travel system is great, you can go by foot, by horse (buy or steal one) or by portal. The alchemy system is intuitive and darn near all ingredients can be mixed into a potion. And you can rotate up to 3 weapons with the R key. So yes, you can hack and slash with a wide assortment of weapons via the left mouse button and cast your main spell with the right mouse button or various hotkeys. Casting spells is easily handled with hot keys. Cards offering you various spell casting abilities. I love the magic system based on cards you find all over the world or purchase at select merchants. You do have to work on differing strategies. I love how all the creatures have rather unique attacking methods. ![]() A somewhat more complex and interative adventure. It's a different feel from Morrowind and Oblivion. Now after 14 hours of Two Worlds, PC version, I'm having so much fun. Oblivion is like a super polished Morrowind and so after 10 hours of Oblivion I bailed, just can't do a repeat of essentially Morrowind on steroids. First let me say I love Morrowind, and have put over 200 hours into Morrowind. Overall I think that Oblivion is a much better game, but if you are looking for something else to play or a different storyline give Two Worlds a try. The game world is large and allows you to roam where you want, but beware, the encounters do not seem to scale to your level so going off the basic set of quests (and side quests) will quickly lead to your death.Ĭharacter death in the game is trivial as you lose nothing for dieing and are reborn at the nearest shrine (even if it is one you haven't found yet). This coupled with a less than intuitive control interface makes combat difficult, even for easy encounters. I have been playing on medium difficulty and found that the game is fairly unforgiving of poor choices in battle. I bought this game because it seemed to have an interesting concept and I got it for very cheap.Īfter playing for a few hour (there is much more to the game) I have found the story generally interesting and the interface ok.
